Nexthink Names Eric Blum Chief Customer Officer and Samuele Gantner Chief Product Officer
Former BMC Software Executive Blum Joins Nexthink to Drive Continued Adoption of Digital Employee Experience Platform; Gantner Promoted from VP of Products to C-Suite
BOSTON – September 6, 2018 – Nexthink®, a leader in digital employee experience management software for enterprises, today announced that it has made two key appointments to its leadership team: Eric Blum as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and Samuele Gantner as Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Blum will oversee all initiatives across Nexthink’s professional services, customer success and customer support services to help further grow the company’s already impressive client portfolio. Gantner will be responsible for leading the continued development of Nexthink’s digital employee experience platform, managing enhancements and related partnerships to help the company meet the market demand for its solution.

Blum has more than 20 years in the technology industry, holding several senior-level positions in technology services, sales and managing large international teams to drive revenue. Most recently, Blum served as Vice President CTO for EMEA at BMC Software, where he was responsible for building new market capabilities internally and with partners to sustain rapid revenue growth by leading corporate strategic initiatives in the Multi-Cloud, AIOPs and Cognitive Service Management fields.
Gantner previously served as VP of Products at Nexthink, where he was responsible for delivering on Nexthink’s product vision and defining the company’s end-user IT analytics platform roadmap, including products, solutions and strategic integrations. Prior to joining Nexthink’s product development team as an engineer in 2011, Gantner was a software engineer at Microsoft where he contributed to the development of Windows Live services and Lync, gaining strong experience working with complex software products.
