Nexthink exhibiting at GITEX 2015
Forecast Estimates Connected Devices Will up Service Spending by AED 960 Billion by 2020
• Internet of Things is transforming businesses and its disruptive impact will be felt across all industries
• IT Analytics provider addresses Enterprise IT trends this GITEX
Dubai, UAE: A recent study estimates that 4.9 billion connected devices will be in used in 2015 and will reach 25 billion by 2020. As a result, the Internet of Things (IoT) has become a powerful force for business transformation, and its disruptive impact will be felt across all industries and lead service spending by AED 960 billion by 2020.
This digital shift fuelled by the adoption of cloud, mobile, social, etc. that is further boosted by the IoT, threatens organizations as enterprise IT departments will no longer have control over their infrastructures, network, servers, operating systems or even the applications being used by employees (end-users).
The recent cases of Ashley Madison, Sony Pictures, etc. indicate that with the rise in sophisticated malicious attacks, organizations cannot comprehensibly defend themselves against every new and emerging threat. Today IT Operations Analytics (also referred to as ITOA), plays a critical role in helping organizations add an additional layer of security against the increasing threats to their infrastructure, enabling IT departments to become more proactive in their approach to IT security.
This GITEX, senior executives from Nexthink will address recent enterprise IT trends with visitors and customers. In addition, the vendor will showcase its latest patented solution Nexthink V6 that offers organizations real-time IT analytics and visualizations to make smarter data-driven decisions in today’s rapidly changing business world.
“To ensure the success of IoT initiatives, ITOA solutions are needed that can provide visibility of the entire IT infrastructure and end-user endpoints,” said Ghassan AlKhalout, Regional Director, Nexthink. “Nexthink IT analytics play a critical role in providing accurate information on the end-user experience, which is not available with traditional backend monitoring solutions.”
“Today traditional security solutions are no longer a viable strategy. 80% of security breaches involve end-user devices. As IoT is more widely adopted, there is a clear need for real-time visibility of these devices and the enterprise IT infrastructure. ITOA solutions complement traditional security tools, and the insight provides full visibility to enable IT departments to verify an organization’s IT security and compliance,” said Maged Eid, Regional Director, Nexthink. “This GITEX we will showcase best practices, case studies and discuss IT challenges faced by organizations today. We are also very pleased to introduce the latest version of our award-winning solution to existing and potential customers.”
Taking place from 18-22 October 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Nexthink will be present on booth Hall 7 stand C7-20 and Hall 7A stand 7A 20 this GITEX.
