Nexthink Continues to Deliver Security Excellence with ISO/IEC 27701:2019 Certification and SOC 2 Type 2 Report
Nexthink, the leader in digital employee experience (DEX) management, today announced that it has attained ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification and the Service Organizations Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 Report for the Trust Services Criteria (TSC) – security and availability. The ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification strengthens Nexthink’s security and privacy compliance program, which already includes ISO/IEC 27001:2013, ISO/IEC 27017:2015, ISO/IEC 27018:2019
EY CertifyPoint was the independent auditor for the ISO/IEC 27701:201 certification and SOC 2 Type 2, which is the widely recognized international set of standards detailing best practices for the management of information security and privacy.
- ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is a standard that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS). This certification ensures that Nexthink cloud solution is in line with compliance of and the pursuit of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other data privacy regulations.
- A SOC 2 Type 2 report provides assurance on management’s description of a service organization’s system and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of controls over a specified monitoring period. For Nexthink’s first SOC 2 Type 2 report, the monitoring period was between 15th December 2021 – 15th June 2022.
“Protecting cloud-based infrastructure takes an unwavering commitment to security and these certifications are proof of Nexthink’s capabilities,” said Vedant Sampath, CTO of Nexthink. “Our enterprise customers expect and deserve security and privacy protections that meet their specific needs while benefiting from the insights they need to take proactive digital action across any environment.”
Nexthink continues to innovate and deliver security excellence – most recently the company launched Nexthink Infinity, a cloud-based platform which brings visibility and analytics across any environment so that IT teams can proactively provide an always-on workplace to their employees, everywhere. Built on Nexthink’s powerful platform and leveraging machine learning and benchmarking, Infinity is the industry’s first solution that enables IT teams to diagnose any issue, automatically determine the root cause and then remediate millions of devices. The platform offers endless integration capabilities because of its unique, proprietary architecture; providing IT teams with data ingestion capabilities from any application – including critical collaboration apps such as Zoom or Teams – to track degradation across any device: physical, virtual, or mobile.
