Lausanne – Nexthink®, the unique provider of End-user IT Analytics, today announced that Nexthink customer University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been named winner of the Best Security Project of the Year at the Computer Weekly European User Awards 2015.
The Best Security Project of the Year Award recognises innovation in information security and IT risk management. Nexthink’s End-user IT analytics helped deliver tactical and strategic benefits to University College London Hospitals (UCLH) in the first year of the project. UCLH was looking for greater intelligence on the performance and utilisation of IT assets across its managed technical estate to help improve efficiency and plan for longer-term strategic investments.
Judges at Computer Weekly said: “This security project is an excellent example of security supporting the business through providing strategic and tactical benefits at the same time as improving information security. Many information security experts are encouraging organisations to build a capability to monitor, manage and proactively respond to security issues before they become a threat to the business, which is what Nexthink has achieved in this project.”
“We are pleased that UCLH has been recognised among teams of IT professionals in Europe that have excelled in their approach to using technology,” said Steven Little, Sales Director Northern Europe at Nexthink. “The selection of UCLH as a winner in the Computer Weekly European User Awards 2015 reinforces how IT analytics are being used by leading organisations to proactively respond to performance and security issues, fixing them before they turn into problems.”
Nexthink provides real-time visibility and analytics on the usage of the entire IT infrastructure and endpoints. All important end-user related events, for example changes in the IT infrastructure, application usage, bandwidth, error messages and crashes, as well as potential security risks and the performance of IT services are recorded and visualized from the end-user perspective.
