IT Service Provider Beck et al. supports management of Schenck Process GmbH
16 December 2013 – MUNICH, Germany – the global company for measuring and process technology Schenck Process instructed its IT service provider Beck et al. Services with the implementation of end-to-end IT Analytics based on Nexthink’s technology. The objective of the project is to obtain continuous and full transparency of the performance of all outsourced IT services from the end-user perspective.
The IT infrastructure of Schenck Process GmbH is managed by different IT service providers, and thus requires strict controls to identify and meet end-user service requirements. In the past, the Group was lacking the necessary transparency. “We did not have the right technical foundation to oversee and control the end-to-end performance of the services provided to our end-users and we were unable to measure their level of satisfaction. When we experienced issues such as connection failures or performance problems, we could not understand the causes,” said Michael Jud, Director of Information Technology, Schenck Process GmbH.
Following an initial analysis by Beck et al. Services using Nexthink, the cause was quickly found and the company decided to use the solution to measure the performance of its multi-provider environment. “With the support of Beck et al. Services, we are now able to resolve two potential problem areas at the same time. On one hand we see all purchased Provider Services at a glance and in the right context of use and on the other hand, we can make a direct impact on the services and deliver real benefits to end-users,” said Michael Jud.
