Nexthink Recognized by Computerworld as a 2013 Computerworld Honors Laureate
April 23, 2013 – Lausanne – IDG’s Computerworld Honors Program today announces Nexthink® as a 2013 Laureate. The annual award program honors visionary applications of information technology promoting positive social, economic and educational change.
“Technology continues to play a pivotal role in transforming how business and society functions. For the past 25 years the Computerworld Honors Program has had the privilege of celebrating innovative IT achievements,” said John Amato, vice president & publisher, Computerworld. “Computerworld is honored to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of the 2013 class of Laureates and to share their work. These projects demonstrate how IT can advance organizations’ ability to compete, innovate, communicate and prosper.”
“Nexthink is proud to be recognized by Computerworld and to be counted among this year’s Honors Laureates,” said Pedro Bados, CEO at Nexthink. “It’s rewarding that our customers such as the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) are using IT to benefit society and change the world for the better.”
“Our job is very demanding and the BSPP is constantly solicited for interventions (more than 1,400 per day on average). We serve the general public and must respond to emergencies in a timely manner. IT problems or failures could have serious consequences on the civilian population. Nexthink allows us to be proactive and prevent the spread of incidents while substantially improving the resolution time of the latter,” said Captain Claude Pilatre, Manager Systems and Networks within the STI, BSPP.
Nexthink monitors IT infrastructure from the end-user perspective. Through self-learning Nexthink maps all the IT services delivered to end-user’s physical and virtual devices.
