Nexthink Announces Appointment of VP Sales to Support Momentum in the Americas and Europe
Proven sales executives to drive revenue growth in the Americas and Europe
November 19, 2013 – Lausanne – Nexthink®, the unique provider of End-user IT Analytics, today announced the appointments of Shane Eliason as VP of Sales Americas and Tim Pollard as VP of Sales Europe. With strong compounded annual growth of 100% over the past 3 years, Nexthink has tripled its workforce, strengthening its R&D, sales, marketing and business development teams. Reporting to Pedro Bados, CEO, Shane and Tim will lead the next stage of the Company’s sales strategy and execution.
Nexthink provides real-time visibility and analytics on the usage of the entire IT infrastructure and endpoints from the end-user perspective. All important end-user related events, for example changes in the IT infrastructure, application usage, bandwidth, error messages and crashes, as well as potential security risks and the performance of IT services are recorded and visualized from the end-user perspective.
Shane is responsible for Nexthink’s sales operations in the Americas. He comes to Nexthink with over 28 years of experience in sales, sales management, and executive leadership positions for companies like IBM, Simon and Schuster, Peregrine, Symantec (Altiris) as well as a number of startup companies. Shane has implemented effective strategies for upgrading sales organizations’ personnel and developing team members to achieve long-term sustainable revenue growth. Shane earned a BS in Finance with an emphasis on technology from Brigham Young University.

Tim has a solid and successful track record with over 15 years of experience in leading sales teams in infrastructure software across EMEA. Based in Nexthink’s UK office, Tim is responsible for Nexthink’s sales operations in Europe. Prior to joining Nexthink, Tim was EMEA Area VP at BMC Software following the successful acquisition of Numara, where Tim was VP EMEA. Previously, he held senior sales positions at Altiris and Symantec. Tim holds a B.Sc.(Hons) from the University of Surrey.
