GKN Land Systems Launches Nexthink Pilot
The Company will receive more transparency on the availability of IT services to enable proactive troubleshooting
Lausanne, Switzerland – Nexthink®, the innovator of end-user IT Analytics, today announced the launch of a project with GKN Land Systems, a world leader in mechanical drive technology. Through its partner DSP, GKN Land Systems selected Nexthink IT Analytics to provide a comprehensive and real-time view of the performance of all IT processes from the end-user perspective.
Even though the project is still in its infancy, GKN Land Systems is thrilled with the Nexthink solution, its ease of deployment and the professional support provided by its partner DSP. The ability to significantly reduce troubleshooting time was an important criterion in selecting Nexthink.
To take full advantage of the added value of Nexthink, GKN Land Systems has opted for the use of the ‘DSP Nexthink Connector’. When opening a ticket, real-time information is now immediately delivered to the Service Desk. The end-user IT analytics provided by Nexthink enable the Service Desk to proactively identify and resolve issues. The ability to perform a root cause analysis with a few clicks is possible, even at the initial report of a problem.
“Since we started using Nexthink IT Analytics in combination with the DSP Connector, the Service Desk receives Nexthink information delivered directly within the ticketing process. This enables us to easily diagnose performance problems from the end-user perspective, and the unique classification of incidents allows us to take immediate and targeted action. We are no longer dependent on vague error descriptions from our end-users. We can now respond much faster and we have our clients more effectively under control,” says Andreas Happe, Head of IT at GKN Land Systems (Lohmar and Unna locations).
“The new DSP Nexthink connector is the Swiss Army knife to bring current client information from Nexthink to exactly where it is needed quickly, efficiently and clearly,” says Dr. Steffen Scholtze, CEO of DSP IT Service GmbH.
Lohmar, Unna, Dessau and La Guerche are mentioned as locations for the pilot.
