Every year we bring back our Experience events bigger and better, and this year we certainly did that!
Across our two events in Boston and London, we welcomed hundreds of customers, partners and DEX enthusiasts from around the globe to learn and share their own journeys with DEX.
With attendees already excited by what was in store, the surprise announcement of our latest survey ‘The Death (and Rebirth) of the Service Desk’ in our opening ceremonies brought a new level of enthusiasm to both events.
If you weren’t able to attend Experience this year, then don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with all the highlights.
Boston
The first stop on the Experience 2024 tour began in Boston’s trendy Seaport District. Building on last year’s success, this two-day event amped things up with new additions like Nexthink certification sessions, community user groups, the Nexthink Ambassador Booth and the partner showcase.
Day one saw the mainstage open with a special session on Reimagining IT Operations from Johnson & Johnson, as well as a lively debate about the Future of IT. We closed the first day with a thrilling presentation from world famous photographer, Platon.
The team always looks forward to these events… and the thought really coming out of Boston’s event was just how great it is to see other customers using Nexthink in different, smart, innovative ways.

Then on day two, the mainstage kicked off with the highly anticipated Nexthink Executive
Keynote with Co-Founder and CEO of Nexthink, Pedro Bados and Chief Product Officer, Sam Ganter. Not one, not two, but three major product launches were revealed — VDI, Adopt, and Nexthink Autopilot — all set to bring new dimensions in DEX for 2025.

The mainstage and breakout sessions were packed with incredible insights throughout the
event, each offering something unique. While it’s hard to pick a standout, Justin Dame’s keynote on best practices for Nexthink adoption truly stole the show. As he shared, “As you build those relationships and the conversations start to progress, you’ll slowly start to see that excitement lead to curiosity, that curiosity lead to advocacy, and finally the advocacy will lead to the growth of the product” - a powerful takeaway for anyone on their DEX journey.
Diving deeper into customer success stories, the breakout sessions were a huge hit, featuring DEX leaders from Southern Company, Leidos, MARS Veterinary Health, and COX Enterprises.
Energized by the DEX automation course, attendees packed into Southern Company’s session “Orchestrating Success with Flow,” which saw standing-room-only turnout. Leidos also drew big interest with their session, “Pathways to Proactive IT: Proving Value and Scaling Across the Organization,” sharing the value of proving your IT initiatives to drive greater benefits.
"This is always such a great event that spurs innovation and ideas in the Digital Experience space. I'm so glad I was able to attend and network with such great colleagues!"

London
Across the Atlantic, excitement built for the action-packed two-day event in London. Set in the historic Grade I listed Tobacco Dock, the iconic venue quickly filled with eager attendees, inspired by early hints of what lay in store from their fellow DEX enthusiasts in the states. Expectations were high, and London was more than ready to deliver.
The event began with a series of engaging discussions and panels, including The Future of IT
debate. Jon Cairns, Chief Customer Officer, was joined by industry leaders Sarah Jones from GSK, Robin Milton-Schonemann from Man Group, and Mark Radford from Freshfields. The debate sparked dynamic conversations about the evolving IT landscape, leaving the audience with thought-provoking questions, such as whether "Experience Desk" might be a more fitting name than the “Service Desk,” and whether or not the Service Desk will continue to exist at all over the next few years.
"Excellent experience at Nexthink Experience24 today meeting some familiar faces and some new ones too!"
Gary Damon, Technical Operations Manager, Travers Smith
As expected, the mainstage was packed with fantastic speakers from industry leaders including Siemens, Vitality, Haleon, Accenture and Alstom. A truly memorable mainstage moment was Belen’s keynote, “Touchless IT: Building the Future Digital Workplace at Siemens” outlining how Siemens is eliminating technical disruptions through data-driven, proactive strategies. There was no better way to end than with her own powerful words: "We are the future of IT” leaving the audience feeling unstoppable and ready to take action.
Now, onto the breakout sessions. Mirroring the success of Southern Company’s sessions in
Boston, Deloitte’s session too drew a packed-out crowd - it’s clear that Flow was a hot topic this year. Fabian Tang shared incredible use cases to demonstrate how Flow is driving impact at scale for Deloitte, initiating a lively Q&A. For those interested in software metering, Flutter Entertainment also delivered a noteworthy session on how automated estate monitoring has significantly reduced costs across the business by ensuring employees only have the applications they need, when they need them.
Beyond the insightful discussions and sessions, the event offered countless opportunities for attendees to connect and learn from one and other. Each year, the DEX community continues to grow, and this year we introduced the Nexthink Ambassador booth as a central hub for connection and collaboration. The booth was a focal point for attendees to share success stories, exchange ideas, and support one another. It’s remarkable to see each year how DEX is bringing people together and creating community.
"Impressive stories on driving digital user experience here at the Nexthink Experience in London. Happy and proud to be an ambassador of this great tool and mindset!"
