Experience Everywhere Wrap Up: Electric Energy Around the World
The Experience Everywhere tour is a wrap, and what a tour it was! We had an incredible time meeting up with our customers, partners, and DEX practitioners from all around the world to share expertise, learn, and grow. If you couldn’t make it (or even if you could) – you can relive all the action now over on our Experience Replays.
Below, we asked a few Nexthinkers to send us their thoughts on each of the four Experience locations. Check out their highlights, and a few of our favorite photos below.
London
Experience Everywhere London, or “EE” for short, could just as easily stand for “Electric Energy.” With a waitlist of 100+ people, standing room only sessions, and packed user groups, this year each attendee made the most of their highly sought-after spot. Being the first Experience Everywhere event, London had extra buzz with the announcement of Nexthink Flow and Nexthink.ai on the keynote stage. The excitement and applause reverberated off the high ceilings in the packed room.
Nexthink delivered the technology, and the customers and partners delivered the best practices. And much like the Nexthink platform, these best practices are built on data, as shown in the “Data is the Law: the impact of next-generation analytics” keynote by the Herbert Smith Freehill law firm, which highlighted the value of objective data and how Nexthink’s data gave them confidence to transform into a proactive IT organization. The all women-panel, "Smarter Journeys: Investing in Employees and Processes," demonstrated the power of empathy and what changemakers can get done from implementing XLAs, working cross functionally to drive innovation, and tracking value for executive buy-in. Whether customers were on-stage, watching demos, or networking, you could feel the energy and see the lightbulbs going off with every new idea and inspiration.

Paris
Parisians are known for doing things very much their own way, and Experience Paris is no exception. In a classically elegant setting in the heart of Paris, 3 Mazarium, with the Seine flowing past just a few hundred feet away, the occasion always has a distinct feeling to that of its sister events. One thing 2023’s event had this year in common with the rest of this year’s tour, of course, was incredible attendance, brilliant buzz – and amazing content.
We often hear that the Paris audience primarily seeks discussion, and EE Paris certainly delivered. There were many electric and engaging panels, including a special on “Proactive IT and DEX," featuring AP HM, Groupama Grand Est and Urssaf Caisse Nationale. Another great debate considered how DEX is moving increasingly close to the heart of IT, as explored by Poclain Hydralics and Savencia. For those interested in delving deep into the complexity and promise of DEX infrastructure, there was a noteworthy session from AWS.
And, as you might expect, the food and wine was delightful, providing the perfect platform for a tremendous amount of conversation and networking between the consistently amazing presentations.

Boston
We switched things up for our North America installment of Experience this year, expanding to two days, adding in a host of trainings, and incorporating breakout sessions to the main day – packing in more content, learning, growth, and conversation.
From the start of day one, the Revere Hotel was alight with excitement. Maybe attendees had heard whispers of the announcements from London and Paris, or maybe they were just excited to get to meet up with other DEX professionals who understood their enthusiasm for employee experience – either way, the conference was buzzing.
Each training had a full house, with lots of incredible engagement for attendees. Our always popular user group took over Day 1’s afternoon, where DEX professionals from across industries got the chance to meet, talk shop, and learn from each other.
On the mainstage, we kicked the day off with Pedro and Sam giving a high energy keynote that generated more than a few gasps from the audience. Then we had a series of incredible presentations from customers and leading analyst voices offering future facing insights and practice guidance on how to implement DEX at the enterprise level. While it’s hard to pick a favorite, some standouts include PayPal’s discussion on making happy users the goal, and Accenture’s breakout talk where Jason Bentz gave a live Flow demo on the fly (we commend his bravery). Overall, the day was a big success, with plenty of time in between talks to make connections and get to know others in the DEX space.

Munich
The Munich Experience event was ALL about interactions with our customers, partners, and prospects, and as such it needed to be done with classic, German "Gemütlichkeit." What better way to get all involved in the right frame of mind, than to start with a wonderful opening dinner event at 'der Pschorr' (a famous German Restaurant that literally defines the term).
The excitement across the event was palpable, and the reactions to our keynote speakers from powerful brands like E.ON, Commerzbank, Landis & Gyr, and Axa were overwhelmingly positive. Some favorite takeaways:
· “Emails make you STUPID” (Landis & Gyr’s Michael Trepte quoting German CIO magazine about how trying to use email to gather actionable management data never works… he talked about using Nexthink to MEASURE the real data and sentiment instead)…
· “I need to make FACT-based decisions” – a customer talking about how only Nexthink can give them the data they need to optimize their experience and costs.
· “What is great about Nexthink, unlike all our other vendors, is that you LISTEN to your customers and actually continually improve the product”
Our two interactive panels, spanning A1. Telekom, Baker Tilly, Med-El, Roche, Strabag, and Syntegon further added to the customer story-centric nature of the event.
With almost double last years attendance, the “veterans” from last year were truly impressed, the new attendees suitably wowed, and our Partners (new this year) were active and valuable participants.
And, what can one say about the joys of hosting such an event in Bavaria as we head into the holidays, festivity was visible everywhere, especially near the restaurant… you can almost smell the holiday baking taking place…
That’s A Wrap… See You Next Year
Thank you to everyone who came out to any of the Experience Everywhere events this year. You are the backbone of the DEX community, creating the future of IT. We will see you all next year!
