- DEX as an IT-Wide Service.
A key takeaway from the session was Dell’s insights into Proactive DEXOps in collaboration with Nexthink. They showcased how proactive monitoring and issue resolution, powered by the synergy between Dell and Nexthink, can significantly elevate DEX scores to deliver outstanding digital experiences. The session wrapped up with a lively Q&A, sparking valuable discussions to leave the audience excited by AI’s transformative role in DEX.
Dell’s Breakout Session and Lightning Talk in London
Over in London, Christoffer Lydahl, Dell Business Dev delivered a powerful session on Building a Business Case for DEX. He broke down the essentials:
- Defining ROI: How to clearly measure the impact of your initiatives.
- Hardware Lifecycle Management: Real-world use cases showcasing how DEX drives down costs and boosts productivity.
The session took hardware lifecycle management one step further by looking into sustainability metrics. Chris explored their concept of "reassign, repair, and refurbish" devices, emphasizing how these practices not only reduce waste but also ensure that users have the right hardware tailored to their needs, all while driving cost savings.
Attendees were not only treated to one session by Dell in London, but they also had the opportunity to listen to Dell’s lightning talk led by Lee Williams, Global Engagements Management over on the Spotlight Stage.
With 40 years’ experience in the IT industry, Lee was not short of valuable insights and wisdom to share with the audience. Mirroring the sessions given by Matt and Dave in Boston, Lee delved into the top 5 DEX trends currently dominating the industry and discussed the basis for building a DEXaaS business case which starts the crucial step of defining the ROI.
The new addition of the Spotlight Stage to Experience was a huge success and a thriving spot for our attendees to catch some quick insights from the well-attended lightning talks.
